What May Care is all About
Each person must be able to eat their fill, be clothed, housed, and have access to healthcare and education.
Our Mission
May Care has Given Itself the Following Mission:
- to allow people with low resources, who are insecure due to their social situation, their age, their disability or their health, to access decent housing, adapted to their situation and their resources,
- to offer personalized or collective support to promote the re-creation of links and social integration.
- to respond to different forms of precariousness and the specific needs of people in difficulty.
Promote Lives
Support to recreate links and promote the lives of people in difficulty
- MAY CARE teams offer local support to homeless children and their families, to promote the recreation of social bonds, integration and autonomy. Depending on the type of housing and the profile of the household, personal or collective support is provided.
- In all cases, it carries the values of the Movement: listening, mutual respect and trust, valuing each person's wealth, access to autonomy and citizenship.

Reconciling The Economic And The Social
From the outset, MAY CARE has placed its action under the sign of innovation and social entrepreneurship. The Movement is at the origin of several companies with a social vocation, in particular two real estate companies, and Real Estate Agencies with a Social Vocation.
MAY CARE is also a pioneer in solidarity savings in Switzerland and has developed, in conjunction with financial and banking partners, a range of investments (booklets, FCP, life insurance, shares of the Foncière d'Habitat et Humanisme and the property Undertaking to Humanize Dependency…) for which the saver agrees to share part of his annual interest with the Movement.
Through the Owners and Solidarity system, Habitat et Humanisme mobilizes housing from private and public owners to house people in difficulty. The Movement also works closely with the Habitat and Humanism Foundation, which carries out research programs and finances innovative housing projects.
